Technology

The building blocks of a reliable system

We specify every component for its role, then commission and monitor the system as one.

  • PV modules

Monocrystalline arrays sized to roof area and load.

  • Hybrid inverters

Solar, battery, grid and generator managed in one unit.

  • LiFePO4 storage

Long-cycle batteries for evenings and outages.

  • Protection & monitoring

Breakers, isolators, SPDs and remote visibility.

Why GeoSolar

An engineering-led partner for the life of your system

  • Engineered, not packaged

Every system starts from your consumption data and site survey — never a one-size kit.

  • Genuine equipment

Products from established manufacturers, supplied with their warranties and datasheets.

  • Transparent proposals

Itemised equipment schedules and clearly stated assumptions you can audit.

  • Safety & compliance

Installed to the Energy (Solar PV Systems) Regulations with proper DC/AC protection.

  • Monitored performance

Remote monitoring set up at handover so issues are spotted early.

  • One team for aftercare

Support tickets, service visits and warranty claims through your GeoSolar account.

How we work

From first conversation to a system you can monitor

Six clear steps, the same engineering discipline on every project. You always know what happens next and who is responsible.

  1. Step 1: Consultation

We capture your objective, site details and a recent electricity bill or load list.

  2. Step 2: Site survey & load analysis

An engineer inspects the roof or ground area, the electrical installation and the loads that matter most.

  3. Step 3: Engineered design & proposal

System sizing, single-line diagram, equipment schedule and a fixed, itemised quotation.

  4. Step 4: Supply & installation

Genuine equipment installed to the Energy (Solar Photovoltaic Systems) Regulations by licensed technicians.

  5. Step 5: Testing & commissioning

Insulation, polarity and protection tests, inverter configuration and handover documentation.

  6. Step 6: Monitoring & aftercare

Warranty registration, monitoring set-up and a scheduled maintenance plan.

Answers before you invest

How do I know what size solar system I need?

Start with Help Me Choose for an indicative size from your monthly bill, then request a proposal. An engineer confirms the design after a site survey and load review.

Can I buy equipment without installation?

Yes. The GeoSolar Marketplace sells genuine panels, inverters, batteries and protection equipment with live stock, M-Pesa and card checkout, and delivery or collection.

Do you work outside Nairobi?

Yes. We design, supply and install across Kenya; delivery and installation logistics are confirmed in your proposal.

Do you service systems installed by others?

Yes. We inspect, report and quote corrective work for existing solar, battery and solar water systems.
